Lightning-Locator
During a loud thunder storm, do you ever wonder how close that last lightning strike was to your current location? Click the Lightning button on your iPhone when you see the lightning flash, and then click the Thunder button when you hear the thunder. Lightning Locator will bring up a map and satelite imagery of your current location with a bright red ring showing the distance to the lightning strike. Get details on timing and distance for all of the lightning strikes you track. Note: Lightning Locator approximates distance to a lightning strike after the fact. It does not predict where the next strike will occur. Always move to a safe location in the event of a lightning storm.
