Bay-Winds-Heavy
Be aware that WesternPort wind reading is off the air due to a storm breaking it. BlackRock YC information is also problematic.
This application is similar to the popular Bay Winds - but is designed to provide extra information for the discerning Windsurfer, Sailor and Kitesurfer.
The extra functionality includes:-
- Wind data from Western Port Yacht Club
- Wind data from Black Rock Yacht Club
- Seabreeze 7 day wind forecast
- Bureau of Meteorology 4 day pressure prognosis graphs
To minimise buttons to make it easier to use in rugged environments, the following controls have been added:
- rotation to landscape mode shows the new graphs
- shaking the iPhone retrieves the latest wind speeds, to ensure you can get the most up to the minute info.
NB. This application only provides wind readings for Port Phillip and Westernport in Victoria, Australia
